annoying thing of the week - gap commercials

i find this to be the most annoying commercial in existence right now (and believe me there is some stiff competition). i am forced to mute the television everytime it comes on because it is reminiscent of nails on a chalkboard. it seems that every year we are subjected to another hunk of shit gap advertisement that is played on a loop on every single station. they most always involve showtunes, horrendous dance moves, chinos, and jazz hands…

this video was found on youtube.com that replaces the shitty song in the commercial with an equally shitty song. however, i find this one to be somewhat tolerable…

note to gap – please stop force feeding us your 30 second broadway crap. oh, and claire danes can bite it as well.

after years of suffering for the sake of “looking good” and being bitched at left and right for avoiding “comfort” my time has come. it’s only a matter of time before we start seeing trendy metros and scenester brats rocking these stilettos (my guess is that jared leto from 30 seconds to mars will be the first). i revel in the glory of seeing these bastards get aching new-shoe blisters and falling flat on their faces in the name of fashion. hey boys, you might not be comfortable but you look FIERCE (in a i-can’t-wait-to-make-fun-of-you kinda way).
